Bicycle TheftPolice on the hunt for two high-value mountain bikes taken from an outbuilding in Ulverston

Two bikes worse 3500 pounds each was stolen from Sunderland outbuilding last week described as Specialised Stump Jumpers, it is another unfortunate example of how criminals target outdoor storage buildings where they believe bikes are kept. Little is known about the additional security employed on this out building, but it’s another example, if we need it, about the need to further protect our bicycles from criminal attack.

The bike stolen are described as Black carbon gold and the other as black carbon and light blue.

Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Kevin Morrow of Barrow Police on 101, or  call anonymously on Crimestoppers at 0800 555 111.
